SANDY BEACH Weddings - EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

Sandy Beach is located on the southeast coast of Oahu and is a well-loved beach by locals and visitors alike.

As with all our Hawaii beach wedding locations, we have photos and videos in our Sandy Beach gallery, but we like sharing all the details about each location to help you decide if this is the best location for your beach wedding!

Note: Sandy Beach is best for weekday ceremonies or early mornings on the weekends. Weekends get very crowded with the local population.

While we wouldn't normally hold the ceremony this close to the waves, your photographer will likely encourage you to get your feet wet for some shots ;)

Posted by Rachel H. on Oct 31, 2019 9:53:00 AM

Don’t let your big day become a big stress! Whether you're eloping, planning for a small Hawaii wedding, or a commitment ceremony, we have put together some quick tips to help. With feedback from our previous couples and coordinators these pointers will help ensure you are able to enjoy every part of your Hawaii destination wedding.

Be Okay Asking for Help

Is it your first time to Hawaii and not sure which ceremony location to choose? Which hotel to book? Where to have a dinner reception? Not sure if you should book a rental car? Let us know!

Although your wedding coordinators are not travel agents, they know their island home very well. We'd be happy to share some insight or offer our opinion. Even if you have never been to Hawaii before, you already have ohana (family) here to help. You can call or schedule a time for us to call you if you'd like to chat. Sometimes just getting in touch is enough to calm those nerves, and we always like talking to our couples :)

Waimanalo Beach Weddings

Posted by Teri S. on Aug 29, 2019 5:48:44 PM
AS OF MARCH 2022, THIS LOCATION IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE DUE TO BILL 38, WHICH BANS COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY IN WAIMANALO.

Waimanalo Beach weddings are by far some of the most beautiful ceremonies you'll see on Oahu! With around three miles of pristine beach to choose from, a turquoise blue ocean, three islands off in the distance, and nestled by beautiful mountains on all sides, it's no wonder that so many couples choose to say "I do" on this stunning beach!

From the moment you drive past the Makapu'u Lookout, you'll understand why Waimanalo Beach was named one of the best in the world. While the drive around the coast is breathtaking, once you reach that lookout point and see the sweeping views, glistening white sand, and turquoise water, you'll know you made the right choice for your wedding day.

As you pass Makapu'u Beach and head into Waimanalo, you'll notice a calmer pace and several areas that make you want to stop and get your toes in the sand, but we recommend continuing past Waimanalo Beach Park and instead head to our favorite beach ...
