Restaurants for Your Hawaii Wedding Reception

So you are having a destination wedding in Hawaii? How lucky you are to start off your marriage by saying I-Do in one of the most beautiful places in on Earth!

After nearly forty years of planning destination weddings in Oahu, we have strong partnerships with numerous restaurants and reception locations and are committed to securing the ideal reservations for you on your special day. 

You probably know by now that we're here to help, and the same is true if you're looking for dinner recommendations. We know some of the best restaurants on the island, and we'll even make reservations for you if you want :-)

Here are three of our top picks for that perfect way to celebrate your big day!

The Signature - Great views for groups of all sizes

The Signature offers a breathtaking view from the 36th floor of the Ala Moana Hotel in Honolulu. There are three private dining options accommodating parties of eight up to parties of forty. Their reception menu offers numerous mouth-watering selections from steak and seafood to unique appetizers and sides (prices subject to change). 

  1. The Wine Room offers a cozy, intimate setting by the wine cellar for up to eight people. While dining, you and your guests will enjoy views of the mountains that are nearly as spectacular as the food itself. Minimum spend amount: $600
  2. The Rainbow Room offers gorgeous views of the tropical mountains as well as the lights of the city. Up to twenty-five people can help toast your marriage in this gorgeous room with floor-to-ceiling windows enhancing the views. Minimum spend amounts: Sunday through Thursday- $1,200, Friday and Saturday- $1,500, Special Holidays- $2,500(Valentine's Day, 4th of July, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve).
  3. The Ocean Room allows up to forty people to dine in celebration of your new marriage. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide a remarkable view of the ocean and sunset, and on Friday evenings you and your party can enjoy a view of fireworks. Minimum spend amounts: Sunday through Thursday- $2,400, Friday and Saturday- $3,000, Special Holidays- $5,000 (same dates listed above).

Azure - Amazing beach location with many options

Nestled on Waikiki Beach in The Royal Hawaiian Hotel is the Azure restaurant. Chef Shaymus Alwin creations are perfect for celebrating your I-Dos, regardless of your reception size. Check out their wedding reception menu

For larger wedding parties, Azure210 is their private, oceanfront dining option for you and up to sixty-five guests. Three menus are offered with a wide variety of meats, cheeses, vegetables, salads and desserts that are sure to enhance your special day.

The Spanish-Moorish architecture and decor along with the elegant tables and candlelight promise a very romantic evening.

Chief's Luau - The Hawaiian way to celebrate your wedding

What's a visit to Hawaii without experiencing an authentic luau? For the couple looking for a unique and exciting reception, Chief's is the place for you. Chief Sielu Avea has appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, The TonightShow with Jay Leno, plus several other television shows and a movie.

Three different experiences are offered for your visit to Chief's Luau at a variety of price ranges, with combination packages and transportation available (subject to change). 

  • Aloha Experience: includes all-you-can-eat Hawaiian luau buffet, shell lei greeting, and one adult beverage. Prices: Adults $87, Youth (13-20) $78, Child (5-12) $64 
  • Paradise Experience: includes Kukui nut lei greeting, two adult beverages, the second section to buffet. Prices: Adults $119, Youth (13-20) $105, Child (5-12) $91
  • Royal Experience: includes fresh flower lei greeting, Mai Tai greeting and three adult beverages, first section to the buffet, souvenir gift, pork tasting straight from 'imu, poi, and lomi lomi salmon sampling. Prices: Adults $159, Youth (13-20) $139, Child (5-12) $127
  • Transportation from Waikiki $16.
